All thermoplastic flanges shall be produced from PVC type I cell classification 12454 or CPVC type IV cell classification 23447. Bolt hole patterns shall conform to ANSI/ASME B-16.5 CL 150. All flanges shall be constructed from materials certified for potable water use by NSF international. All 1/2 in through 16 in injection molded flanges and all fabricated flanges with steel rings shall be pressure rated to 150 psi for water at 73 deg F, as manufactured by Spears manufacturing company.
