The Eastman Heavy Pattern Air Gap is best used for dishwasher and disposer installations. It measures 6-7/8 in length. The air gap is designed to keep kitchen pipes free of dirt by preventing wastewater backflow. The copper body air gap is made up of (1) brass outer cap with a chrome finish, (1) rubber washer, (1) plastic inner cap, (1) nut, and (1) extension. The Eastman air gap is UPC approved.
