Unlike common roof coatings Hercules® roof and flashing sealant is formulated specifically for plumbing applications. Special bituminous composition provides superior adhesive properties even in severe weather conditions. Can be applied in all types of weather and becomes effective immediately, even on cold or wet surfaces. Withstands stress of dissimilar rates of expansion providing years of problem free life. Forms durable, flexible weatherproof coating around new and old flashings, cooling towers, skylights, downspouts, gutters, vents, chimneys and general roof repairs. Adheres to concrete, tile, wood, metal and all roofing and masonry materials. Can be easily applied with trowel or putty knife. Other applications include waterproofing patches or filling breaks after penetrating a previously waterproofed wall to install gas, water or drain lines. Adheres to both pipe and wall to guarantee protection against seepage. Use on downspouts and parapet walls or to repair waterproof membranes or moisture barriers around foundations or slabs. Use to patch around dryer vents, air conditioners or exhaust vents which penetrate outside walls. Waterproof entire floors and seepage-proof linings for sump pits.
